Age is no excuse!!!!

We have all asked the question am I to young to serve, and of course the answer to the question is no. There is no age in the spirit i.e. if you gave your life to Christ at the age of 15, and by the age of 18, you want to answer God’s call, but you use your age as a barrier not to follow God.  David killed goliath at the age of 17, Daniel went into the lion’s den at age 17, and his brothers sold Joseph into slavery at the age of 17. Therefore, their ministries started when they were young, and so can yours. This demonstrates that if you are committed to God, then God can use you, however, old you are.

1timothy 4:12; this specifically states that you need not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but live as an example.

This goes for the people think that they are too old, that they have passed their sell by date. That is also wrong, was not Moses the age of 80, when he was called to set the Israelites free. Abraham, was giving the promise of his descendants at both the age 90 and 100, and he and Sarah had Isaac at the age of 90 and Abraham at 100.

Whatever age you are, God wants to use you. So do not use your age as a hindrance not to completely follow God, because that is not a good enough excuse.

Of course, age brings many barriers, if you are still in your parent house and they are not saved, which of course will make it very difficult to answer your calling. Nevertheless, you have to pray for Gods strength and Gods grace to overcome this obstacle.

Hope this helps, this is just a brief explanation, so it requires you to seek God for answers in the Word of God.

Your are so right, for God it is not about age it’s about willness of spirit. If God used 99 year old woman to give birht to the lineage of the world’s Redeemer, He’s got me.

Thanks for the Word stay blessed.
